Materials that matter, at the heart of our pieces.
At Nathael, we love fabrics that drape well, hold their shape beautifully, and make you want to wear them often. It all starts with the material: its feel, its drape, its everyday wearability.
Our intention
We work with natural or naturally derived fibers for their comfort and feel. Each material is chosen for what it brings to the garment: softness, warmth, flexibility, and hold. Where relevant, we indicate on the product sheet the certifications specific to the piece (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS) as well as key stages (spinning, knitting, manufacturing).
The materials that inspire us
- Alpaca — warm and light, with a soft touch.
- Wool — breathable and insulating, perfect for cooler seasons.
- Cotton — soft and versatile, easy to wear.
- Linen — cool to the touch, ideal for warm weather.
- Angora (rabbit) — used in limited proportion for its warmth and fineness. Relevant items specify this on the product sheet.
- Lyocell (Tencel) — regenerated cellulose-based fiber.
- Viscose — regenerated cellulose-based fiber, with a fluid drape.
And polyester?
Strong and easy to care for, polyester appears in some pieces (for example, our skirts) to ensure volume, shape retention, and wrinkle resistance. The exact composition and reasons for the material choice are indicated on each product sheet.
Material indicator
On the website, a "Material indicator" simply shows when a piece contains ≥ 50% natural fibers. This is composition information — not an environmental label. Details are found under "Details & composition".
Our promise
Garments with a refined look, comfortable to wear and well-finished — thread after thread, with an emphasis on beautiful materials and detail.
