Materials that matter, at the heart of our pieces.
At Nathael, we love fabrics that drape beautifully, hold their shape well, and make you want to wear them often. It all starts with the material: its feel, its drape, its way of living with everyday life.
Our intention
We work with natural or naturally derived fibers for their comfort and feel. Each material is chosen for what it brings to the garment: softness, warmth, suppleness, and structure. When relevant, we indicate on the product page the certifications specific to the item (e.g., OEKO-TEX, GOTS, GRS) as well as the key stages (spinning, knitting, garment making).
The materials that inspire us
- Alpaca — warm and light, with a soft touch.
- Wool — breathable and insulating, perfect for cooler seasons.
- Cotton — soft and versatile, easy to wear.
- Linen — cool to the touch, ideal for warmer weather.
- Angora (rabbit) — used in limited quantities for its warmth and fineness. The relevant product descriptions specify this.
- Lyocell (Tencel) — regenerated fiber made from cellulose.
- Viscose — a regenerated fiber made from cellulose, with a fluid drape.
And what about polyester?
Durable and easy to care for, polyester is used in some items (for example, our skirts) to ensure volume, shape retention, and wrinkle resistance . The exact composition and reasons for the material choice are indicated on each product page.
Material reference
On the website, a " Material Marker " simply indicates when a garment contains ≥ 50% natural fibers . This is composition information—not an environmental label. Details can be found under "Details & Composition."
Our promise
Well-made clothes that look good, are comfortable to wear and are finished thread by thread , with attention to beautiful materials and detail.
